How does BOMA and a dining plan work for our 2yo? He is not on our dining plan due to his age. I understand for menu-serving restaurants he can eat off our plate...is the same true for buffet restaurants?

Hi Cara!  Boma is truly a wonderful buffet dining experience at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  You will absolutely love the Zebra Domes, one of their signature desserts!  When making your Advance Dining Reservations, you will be asked your childs age.  At non buffet experiences, you may ask your server for a separate plate, and your child will be able to share your meal.  With buffets, you will be able to serve your child his own plate without having to pay any additional fee.  This is the case with all buffets at Walt Disney World!

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
