Will BOMA (breakfast) or Storybook Dining (dinner) have special Mother's Day menus with higher prices in May? If so, what are the time frames for these menus? Planning to go to Park or resort hopping day on Mother's day.

    Hello Julia!

Thanks for coming back with another great question. Spring is a perfect time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and as a mom myself, I can't think of a better place to celebrate Mother's Day. From the dazzling floral displays of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival to delectable treats (and maybe even a spa service), the parks and resorts will be blooming with ways to make any mom feel like a Disney Princess.

This year, Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort offered a special Mother's Day brunch just as it did in 2023. I couldn't find mention of any date-specific menus at Boma - Flavors of Africa or Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White for 2024, but that doesn't necessarily mean the same will be true in 2025. Unfortunately, details have not been made available for next year's Mother's Day events yet, but I recommend keeping an eye on Disney Parks Blog as the date nears.

The Disney Eats: Foodie Guide to Mother’s Day was published on May 3, 2023, and April 30, 2024, so I'd expect 2025 details to be available around those dates. This is obviously well after the 60-day advance dining window opens for that date, so I'd secure reservations for your must-eat experiences first and modify if a special opportunity is announced closer to your visit.

If you want a regal breakfast experience I recommend celebrating Mom at The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant by Gwendolyn Rogers for brunch. I visited with friends a few weeks ago and we were delighted by the menu, this setting and the sparkles that adorned nearly every surface (food included). Wine Bar George in Disney Springs is another personal favorite. In fact, I'm still thinking about the incredible Burrata I had there earlier this year.

I have yet to enjoy dinner at Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, but a few of my fellow panelists give the meal high praise. I think it would be a fun and special dining experience even if a unique Mother's Day menu is not available. My family plans to enjoy this Character Meal during our visit next summer.

Julia, I'm sorry I don't have more specific details for you just yet, but please come back and see us again with more planning questions as your travel dates approach. We'll always do our best to help!

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
