    Hiya Aman,

Welcome back to planDisney! I’m so happy you stopped by with your question about allergy-friendly dining options—especially as you get ready for a holiday visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

As a mom who regularly navigates food allergies, I completely understand how important it is to plan so that everyone can enjoy both the magic and the meal. The wonderful news is that Disney truly goes above and beyond in accommodating Guests with food allergies and special dietary needs.

At Be Our Guest Restaurant, you’ll find several options that are milk-free and gluten-free. When browsing the menu on the My Disney Experience app or the Disney World website, look for the allergy-friendly sections under appetizers, entrées, and desserts. Each item is clearly labeled with the allergens it’s safe for—for example, the Charred Eggplant entrée is listed as free from gluten/wheat, egg, fish/shellfish, milk, peanut/tree nut, sesame, and soy.

When you arrive at the restaurant, be sure to let your server know about your allergies and, if possible, ask to speak with the chef. In my experience, Disney chefs are incredible at creating safe, delicious meals and sometimes can even make off-menu modifications when possible. Once your meal is served, your allergy-friendly dishes will be clearly marked, ensuring everything is safe for you to enjoy.

Now, when it comes to dining during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, it really comes down to your preference. Some Guests love to sit down for a meal when the party officially begins, while others use their 4:00 p.m. entry window to grab a bite beforehand. My family usually enjoys something quick before the party—or we nibble our way through the special holiday treats available throughout the event, so as not to take away from our party time. From festive cookies and peppermint treats to sipping hot cocoa while watching Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, there’s no wrong or right answer, just more of a preference.

Aman, I hope this helps you feel prepared and excited for your upcoming visit! Feel free to visit us with any additional questions.

    See ya real soon,

    Christina
