Do boats from Wilderness Lodge to MK leave at set times like on the hour/etc.? Trying to figure out if I'll have time to wait for a boat vs uber after Storybook Dining since we have a SP for Tron and will be cutting it close.

    Welcome back to planDisney, Jennifer!

Your magical trip is just around the corner, and I’m happy to help! Since you’re dining at Story Book Dining at Artist Point, I’ll channel my Magic Mirror on the Wall skills to guide you to the best way to Magic Kingdom.

First, can we talk about how incredible this dining experience is? The Evil Queen steals the show with her icy glares, and I can never get enough of that creamy mushroom bisque! The twinkling forest setting makes it feel like you’ve stepped right into a fairytale, but just be sure to have your best royal pose ready when you meet the Queen!

When it comes to getting to Magic Kingdom in time for your TRON Lightcycle / Run Lightning Lane reservation, the ferryboats from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom run approximately every 20 minutes, but there’s no exact schedule. With two boats running continuously, the ride itself takes about 10–15 minutes, but depending on when you arrive at the dock, your wait time could vary. If you’re not in a hurry, this is the most relaxing and scenic way to travel!

If time is tight, I highly recommend booking a Minnie Van through the Lyft app. Unlike regular rideshare services, which drop off at the Transportation and Ticket Center, Minnie Vans can take you directly to the Magic Kingdom entrance. This would be your fastest option if you’re worried about making it to the Grid on time!

Whichever route you choose, I hope you have an enchanting evening and an electrifying ride on TRON! See ya real soon!
