Hello and welcome to planDisney, David!

I can see that you are gearing up for an upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort – how exciting! This planning phase is essential to ensure that you get the most out of your experience, and I find myself doing the same before each visit.

Good news! As of October 1, 2023, the watercraft service, often referred to as the “blue route,” connecting Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, is available starting at 3:00 PM daily. If it is before 3 PM, rest assured that other Disney Transportation options are still available. I do not know about you, but the evening is the best time to enjoy this route across Bay Lake, especially as the sun goes down.

Please know that we will be happy to help if you have additional questions before your arrival.
