is the boat from Port Orleans french quarter to Disney springs ECV accessible?

Hi, Nicole! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. The Sassagoula River Cruise service linking Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts to Disney Springs usually begins at 10:00 a.m. daily and continues until 11:00 p.m., with the last boat back from Disney Springs departing at around 11:30 p.m. These times are subject to change at any time, so be sure to check with Concierge upon your arrival. The boats run approximately every 20 minutes during the day, and more frequently during the evening. The trip from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to Disney Springs takes around 15 minutes.  The boats have a limited seating capacity and are quite popular, especially later in the afternoon, so please allow plenty of time to reach your destination, just in case you need to wait for another boat.

Wheelchair and ECV guests can be accommodated on the boats. Guests do not need to transfer to a seat. Before welcoming all guests to board, the boat captain will connect a from the dock to the boat so those with wheelchairs can easily board. The captain can assist you in locking the wheelchair into place for the ride down the Sassagoula River. This is quite a scenic ride and is a nice alternative to bus transportation!

Thanks again for bringing your question to us. I hope this information helps you and please let us know if you have any other questions  as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
