    Can you take a boat directly from Port Orelans Riverside to French Quarter Resort? Does Riverside have there on bus or is it shared with other resorts? We are trying to decide on a resort and travel times to parks from Riverside.

    Hi Cindy!

    Yes, the boat does travel from Port Orleans Riverside to French Quarter. The ferries are a fun way to travel - we never miss a chance to grab a ride and float along. The resorts are also within walking distance, so you can choose to do that as well.

    The Port Orleans resorts often share buses - most times you'll find that the bus picks up or drops off at either French Quarter or Riverside and then continues on to the other resort. The order of resorts does vary.

    I don't think you can go wrong with either Riverside or French Quarter. While our family prefers the compact layout of French Quarter, they are both great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at either!
