Hi there, Cathy!
The area known as
Disney's BoardWalk is one of my favorite places to stay and experience when I visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The location just can't be beaten with proximity to both
Epcot and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. I love being able to walk or utilize the
Friendship Boat transportation when staying at Disney's BoardWalk Inn and visiting these two theme parks. A stay in this area also means access to fantastic dining options, entertainment, and shops. And the views around Crescent Lake are some of the most magnificent, especially at sunrise and sunset!
Cathy, the room design at
Disney's BoardWalk Inn are classically themed with a touch of whimsy, and the rooms are quite spacious. I believe it's been a few years since the last renovation at this deluxe Resort hotel, but I think you'll find the
accommodations quite comfortable and in line with the relaxed feel of this area.
If you decide a stay at Disney's BoardWalk Inn is in your future, Cathy, you'll want to plan time to experience it at night. Being along the shore with the lights glistening all around really does make you feel like you are strolling through Atlantic City at the turn of the century. My family loves to top off a night at Disney's BoardWalk with a stop at
Ample Hills Creamery. Just thinking about a double scoop of Ooey Gooey Butter Cake has my mouth watering!
Thank you for sending in your question, Cathy! If you need any further help, please let us know.
Have a MAGICAL day!
Nancy
