Welcome aboard, Thiago! Sailing with Disney Cruise Line offers so many perks, including larger than average cruise
staterooms with lots of storage. My family of four and I always find plenty of places to stow all the extras we bring along!
When you arrive at the port, send your bags ahead to the ship with the porters and your bags will magically appear at your stateroom later that evening. That certainly makes an easier first day since you won't have to haul your luggage around the ship before your stateroom is ready. Keep a day bag with any necessities on hand and you'll be all set until your bags arrive later. Disney doesn't offer luggage storage outside of your stateroom, but there are plenty of spots to tuck those bags away. If you have nesting luggage like we do, once you unpack your bags and put your items into the closets and drawers, you can put the empty suitcases inside each other to save space. The beds are higher off the ground and even our large hard-sided luggage slides right under the beds super easily. There is space on the sides of the bed and in the closet should you not be able to fit it all under the bed.
And remember, don't overpack! If you need to throw in a load of laundry to help save space in your suitcase so you can re-wear a few items, it's available. There are a few guest
self-serve launderettes throughout the ship. Bring your own individual packs of laundry soap or swipe your Key To The World Card right there to purchase one onboard. Irons are available in the laundry rooms too.
I hope that helps as you plan your
packing strategy for this big adventure at sea, Thiago! Stop back again if we can help with any other questions!
