We are boarding our ship at noon with ac4 pm departure. Will any food be available that afternoon or not until dinner?

    Welcome back, Patricia!

I have to smile when I see you asking if food will be available, because once you're onboard, you'll realize that when you sail with Disney Cruise Line, there is always food available! It doesn't matter what time of the day or night, there is a venue onboard serving food, included with the cost of your cruise, and you can even have complimentary Room Service delivered! A Mickey Bar at midnight? Yes, please! You certainly won't go hungry during your Disney Cruise Line voyage!

You mentioned boarding at noon. That is probably your Port Arrival Time that you chose during online check-in. If so, that is the time Disney is expecting you to arrive at the port, but not necessarily a boarding time. You'll check in and be given a boarding number. Once your number is called, it's time to board the ship! As you first walk onboard, you'll be greeted with a round of applause by the Cast Members, and then directed straight to one of two restaurants for lunch. Since you may be waiting in the cruise terminal for a bit before your boarding number is called, it's never a bad idea to have a few snacks for hungry kids, just in case. But soon you'll be onboard with food galore!

Anytime your family wants a snack, swing by the quick service spots on the pool deck to grab a bite. And, I'd be in trouble with my kids if I didn't mention the soft serve ice cream at Eye Scream Treats. Yes, it's free, all day, and it's surely a highlight for my kids!

Have such fun planning this adventure, Patricia!
