Hey there, Sharie, thanks for sailing through to planDisney.
It sounds like you are excited about an upcoming
Disney Cruise sailing and ready to embark on the ship! I’m happy to share a little bit more about port arrival.
Once your cruise is fully paid, and the window opens for check-in, you can go through the check-in process. The check-in window is based on your Disney Cruise Line
Castaway Club Membership Tier. Port arrival times are based on both online check-in and Castaway Club Membership tiers, and whether you are in a
Concierge stateroom. Priority boarding is given to Concierge and Pearl members only, allowing early boarding. Unfortunately, there is no other way to get an earlier time or lower boarding number. I recommend
checking in online as soon as it becomes available to you. If you arrive early to your port, you will not be granted entrance, and not all ports have waiting or sitting areas outside of the terminal.
There’s so much to do once you’ve completed boarding and embarked upon the ship! Make sure you have the
Disney Cruise Navigator app downloaded and your
MyDisney account logged in to link to your trip itinerary. The app will be your best friend on the cruise, and will even remind you of the activities you signed up for or are interested in checking out. As a final reminder, please review the
checklist before embarkation to make sure you’ve packed everything before setting sail!
I know you’re going to have the most magical sea vacation, Sharie. If you have any other questions before your sailing, feel free to
make another port stop by planDisney! We’re here to help!
Bon Voyage!
Camille
