How do you get a boarding group ticket for tendering at grand cayman?

Hi, Stephen! Welcome back to planDisney.

A Disney Cruise is a great way to experience new destinations. If you've arranged a Port Adventure through Disney, you'll gather onboard and head ashore as a group, so you don’t have to worry about picking up a tender ticket.

If you prefer to venture out independently, you’ll find the tender ticket pickup location on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Once the initial rush subsides, an announcement will be made, and you can proceed directly to the gangway without needing a ticket, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace.

The last time I visited Grand Cayman, we waited in the Walt Disney Theatre until it was our time to board, and then we all went to the first floor together. The journey from the ship to the shore can take approximately 10 - 15 minutes. The good news is that you don't need a ticket when you want to return to the ship, as tenders run continuously all day.

When you go ashore, have your Key to the World Card and a photo ID handy. If you’re spending the afternoon at the beach, please feel free to take a few pool towels with you.  Just make sure you bring them back after your fun in the sun.

I hope you are feeling shipshape and ready to make memories to last a lifetime! Don't hesitate to visit us again if you need anything. My pals and I love helping guests plan fantastic land and sea vacations.

    SEAS the adventure!

Ahoy! Just like Moana, I feel the irresistible call of the sea. I think the best vacation is aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship – thankfully, my family agrees. Whether savoring gelato in Italy, snorkeling in Mexico, or basking in the sea breeze on deck, each destination fills us with memories to last a lifetime. I look forward to helping your family plan a Disney Cruise Line adventure brimming with cherished moments!
