Ahoy, Claire!
Your Disney Cruise adventure is on the horizon! Each ship in the
Disney fleet boasts its own unique features, but one delightful commonality is the magnetic doors and ceilings. Guests often enjoy adding a
personal touch to their stateroom doors with magnets, making for a colorful stroll down the hallways.
Regarding the walls, I've personally tested the magnetic properties aboard the Disney Magic and Wonder; unfortunately, my stateroom walls weren't magnetic. However, aboard the Disney Dream and Fantasy, they were, and I've heard the same holds true for the Disney Wish. Keep in mind, though, that with so many staterooms, magnetic walls may vary by location.
Claire, I understand that some Guests find it useful to bring metal hooks, but I've always found the ample hangers, hooks, drawers, shelves, and counter space in our staterooms sufficient for organizing our belongings. However, one item I do find helpful is a pop-up hamper. It’s a convenient way to keep all our dirty clothes in one place, and it simplifies packing when it's time to go home. I use one suitcase for dirty clothes and the other for clean items.
As a Concierge Guest, you'll receive outstanding service from the Concierge Hosts. I absolutely loved the Concierge Lounge; it's the perfect retreat. There, you'll find complimentary evening drinks, snacks throughout the day, and an amazing private sun deck to soak up the rays.
If you have any questions about onboard activities or want to chat more about the Concierge experience, please sail back to planDisney. I’m happy to answer your questions!
