We are boarding for our 1st Disney Cruise on Fantasy Nov 7th-what night is the formal night and what night is pirate party night. I have a 3 year old who I would like to book into the dress up boutique, don't want to pick a pirate costume for formal night

    Welcome Aboard, Tanya!

How exciting that you are planning your very first Disney Cruise!  I see that you are on an Eastern Caribbean cruise with stops in St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Disney's Castaway Cay. You will also have three full days at sea to enjoy all that the Disney Fantasy has to offer.  My family has cruised this exact same itinerary on the Disney Fantasy, so I went to our scrapbook to find your answer.

The formal and semi-formal nights are typically on Sea Days, which allows you a little more time in the evening to get ready for dinner.  Our formal night was on Sunday, our first sea day, and our semi-formal night was on Thursday, our third sea day. Pirate night was the fourth night of our cruise, after our day in St. Maarten.  I highly recommend booking the Pirates League at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for late Tuesday afternoon so that your little pirate can get all "decked" out for the Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party.

I would also recommend that you check out the fireworks from the party up on Deck 12, starboard side.  You will have an unobstructed view, and it is awesome!

I hope this helps with your cruise planning.  I look forward to seeing you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more cruising questions.

    Have a FANTASTic cruise!

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
