Ahoy there, Chris!
I do love a 3-night cruise to the
Bahamas on
Disney Cruise Line! It's the perfect pick-me-up in the fall and winter - like a good latte from the
Cove Cafe, it keeps you energized and going strong as the sun sets on summer and gives way to shorter days and cooler temperatures.
Chris, you will be assigned your
embarkation day port arrival time when you do your
online check-in 30 days prior to sailing. They usually assign times between 11 AM and 3:00 PM, as all guests should be onboard by 3:45 to sail away. There's a
Sail Away Celebration you do not want to miss. Right now, the port arrival times are pretty set in stone, so if you arrive early on
embarkation day, you may have to wait.
On
debarkation day, you have the option to do an Express Walk-Off debarkation. This is where you keep your luggage with you the night before, and then by around 7 AM, you can take your luggage and leave the ship. This time is approximate, so if you are flying home, leave yourself some extra time to make sure the ship has been cleared and you are good to go. If you opt not to do the Express Walk-Off, you will put your luggage outside your stateroom the evening before debarkation day, and you can usually begin leaving the ship at about 7:30 AM. Again, this time can change, so give yourself breathing room if you're headed to catch a flight.
I hope this helps get you in shipshape and ready to sail, Chris!
