Welcome aboard planDisney, Kerry!
Thank you for sending in your question about boarding the
Disney Magic in
Galveston.
After completing your online check-in, you should have received a port arrival time. These times usually run from 10:30 or 11:00 am to 3:00 to 3:30 pm. This is the time you can check in with a Cast Member at the terminal, and once checked in, you'll wait for your boarding group to be called. This boarding group number is also assigned when you complete your online check-in. If you are using
Disney Cruise Line transportation to the port, you will not receive a port arrival time as it is automatically assigned, and you typically receive an early boarding group number. Exact boarding times can vary from sailing to sailing due to when the ship is cleared for new Guests. My best estimate is that
boarding will begin sometime around 11:30 am to noon. The most important thing to know is that all aboard is at 3:30 pm, so you'll want to be there before then with time to spare!
Kerry, to make your land-to-sea transition as smooth as possible, be sure to have your port arrival form printed off or the QR code saved to your mobile wallet. Have your
passports or other important documentation handy, along with any
DisneyBand+ you want to use while onboard. Your luggage should be labeled with the tags you received in the mail. If you need any additional tags, the porters will have them curbside and ready to label with your stateroom number. If you are arriving via Disney Cruise Line transportation, just ask the representative for extra tags.
I hope you have the most MAGICal time on your cruise in April, Kerry! Please sail back over if you have any additional questions about cruising the high seas with Captains Mickey and Minnie.
