Hi again, Ashley! I'm glad you stopped back to the Moms Panel with another question about your cruise this November!
Guests who are booked on the early (around 9:30) Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim Port Adventure have the option of staying after their dolphin swim to explore and enjoy Blue Lagoon Beach. They would then catch the later ferry departure (about 2 hours later) back to the pier. That is what our family will be doing when we head off on this adventure. I'm excited to have that extra time to enjoy simply relaxing on the beach in that gorgeous piece of paradise!
The Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin Observer guests will stick with the guests who will be swimming with the dolphins for the learning session about the dolphins, then will have an area from which to watch their friends and family do the swim. They, too, will then be able to stay to enjoy the beach for a couple hours afterwards if they are on the early adventure. Guests can only book this adventure if others in their party are booked on the Dolphin Swim or Dolphin Encounter.
If you or other members of your group are only looking to spend the day on the beach, their best bet would be to simply book the
Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day adventure. There, guests can relax on the beach or take part in water activities or tours at an additional fee. Lunch is included in this adventure. Here, again, guests can take an early ferry back, spending only around 3 or 4 hours on the beach, or they can opt to return after about 5 or 6 hours on the beach.
I hope that helps, Ashley! I'm already looking forward to our Blue Lagoon adventure in the fall, aren't you?
