    BLT reservations July 2016-going to try to modify to Beach club this week. IF we get it-it will be our 1st time there. With such a wonderful pool-I was thinking of cutting back on park days-just use the pools. (NO water parks this trip) Any thoughts?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know I have helped you with several questions for your special girls only trip this year, and I hope you had a magical vacation. 

    Disney’s Beach Club Villas are a wonderful choice for a summer vacation. The pool, Stormalong Bay, has a reputation for being the absolute best at Walt Disney World. I certainly think with a pool like that right at your resort, that there would be plenty of wet and wild fun to enjoy without a trip to a water park. Stormalong Bay is not just a pool, but a huge, 3 acre water recreation area! You’ll find a sandy bottom, a shipwreck themed waterslide, and even a lazy river. There is something for every member of the family to enjoy. Swimming can take a lot of energy, so when you need to refuel, look no farther than Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Try their delicious grilled cheese sandwich, and bring the whole family to enjoy the largest sundae I have ever seen, the Kitchen Sink!

    The other great aspect of Disney’s Beach Club Villas is the amazing location. If you’d like to take a break from the bustle of the theme parks, you’ll have plenty of activities within walking distance of your resort. After enjoying a splashtastic good time at Stormalong Bay, you can challenge your family to a round at Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf, located across the street from the Walt Disney World Swan. For a delightful park free evening, enjoy a beautiful stroll along the Boardwalk. With street performers appearing nightly, fun snacks and exciting shops, it’s the perfect end to a Disney day.
