What are the Blockout Dates December 2018 and what tickets allow entry?

Hi Megan and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m excited to know that you have planned a Holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

If you have purchased Florida Resident theme park tickets, I have great news for you! There are no blackout dates for these tickets. You just must use your tickets and any of their options before December 31, 2019. Or your tickets have to be used within six months of their first use.

When using your Florida Resident ticket for the first time, remember that you have to show Proof of Florida Residency at any Guest Services or ticket window location at any of the theme parks or Disney Springs.

When it comes to black-out dates for Walt Disney World Annual Passes for Florida Residents, there are dates that you should be mindful of. Make sure to check those specific dates for your passes in the link above.

Megan, your arrival date falls on the last night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It’s such a fun event! I love the complimentary holiday treats and the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is awesome! You even get a glimpse of the man of the hour himself, Santa Claus!

I hope this information is helpful to you as you put those finishing touches on your trip. Come back to see us if you have any more questions. Helping you will all the details of your visit is our pleasure!
