As of now, we only know the water park schedule until September 8, 2026. While the water parks usually open on an alternating basis, over the summer months this year, both water parks will be open to enjoy!
Beginning on February 15, 2026,
Typhoon Lagoon will close, and
Blizzard Beach will open. Then, from May 26 to September 8, 2026, both water parks will be open at the same time as a part of this year’s
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER.
Although we don’t know which water park will be available after that date, we can look back at how it all played out last year for some guidance! In 2025, after the summer months, Blizzard Beach closed, and Typhoon Lagoon remained open over the
fall months and into winter. If things stay the same this year, Typhoon Lagoon may be the water park that will be open during your vacation.
Of course, we don’t know for sure! I’d keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Hours & Events Calendar as your trip gets closer to see which water park will be available during your stay.
