If Blizzard Beach is closed, and Winter Summerland mini golf is open, what transportation would you recommend? Especially if the bus to Animal Kingdom or a Minnie Van is not an option. Thanks a bunch!

Hello, Lindsay, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Winter Summerland Miniature Golf is a wonderful family activity any time of the day, but it’s even more fun at night. If you’d like to enjoy a round or two after Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has closed for the day, your only complimentary transportation option is to take a bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and then transfer to the Blizzard Beach bus from there. If this is not an option for your Party, your other choices include Disney’s Minnie Van Service (where the rate is determined by distance traveled within the Walt Disney World Resort property) or a traditional taxi or rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. If you have access to a car, parking is free at both Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks.

Another choice with semi-direct complimentary transportation is Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf. While rideshare and taxi services are available to this destination, you can also take a bus from any of the Theme Parks to the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. The Fantasia courses are located across the street from the Swan Hotel’s entrance. Depending on the time of day, you may have to hire a rideshare service to return to your original destination.

If you’re staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel, simply ask your hotel’s concierge about your best options depending on the size of your Party as well as the date and time you’d like to visit either of the Miniature Golf courses.

    Best wishes,
