We were blessed w/ 5 three day passes from a Disney Vacation Owner. Are they subject to blackout dates? We were going to book last week of Oct and saw annual passholders are blacked out on the 30th? Are comp passes exempt? Also do they include H20 parks?!

Hello Cassie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We are so glad you brought your question to us today.

How wonderful that you have been gifted Walt Disney World Tickets from a very generous friend!

From my very first Magic Kingdom Club Passport many years ago to the Super Duper Passes my husband and I used on our first Walt Disney World vacation together, to Magic Your Way tickets and different iterations of Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus tickets, there have certainly been a plethora of park tickets with varying usage stipulations over the years.

Unfortunately, without knowing how and when your tickets were obtained, or even the specific name of the tickets you hold, I really can't definitively say what restrictions, if any, they may have.  Since it sounds like the tickets you were gifted are not Annual Passes, they are not likely to be subject to the Annual Pass blockout calendar.  (The Florida Resident Theme Park Select Pass is blocked out at Disney's Hollywood Studios on October 30.  All other Annual Passes are valid on that date.)  Generally speaking, tickets that include admission to Disney's Water Parks will have "Plus", "Water Park Fun & More", or "Water Park and Sports" as part of the name of the ticket.

You might try linking your tickets to your My Disney Experience account to see if an expiration date or more ticket information can be viewed there.  (Tip: view your tickets on the mobile app rather than the website to see expiration dates and how many days of admission remain.)  I think your best bet will be to call the Existing Tickets line at (407) 566-4985 and provide the ticket numbers.  A helpful Cast Member will be able to look up your ticket information and let you know what type of tickets you have.

As you plan for your visit this fall, please stop by the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have.  We are always happy to help.
