What are the blackout dates for Florida residents? We had to purchase full price tickets last year due to black out dates and don't want the same thing happening this year!

    Hi Susan!

When planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you want everything to be perfectly magical, so I completely understand wanting to make sure your Florida Resident Tickets will work during your trip!

Since there are multiple tickets and offers for Florida Residents, the blockout dates vary.  If you go to the Annual Passes webpage, you will be able to find your ticket, and click the "View blockout dates" link in the ticket description.  This will bring up a calendar with all of the dates that you can (and can't) visit the parks using the ticket you have selected.

The Disney Platinum Plus Pass, the Disney Platinum Pass, and the Epcot After 4 Annual Pass do not have blockout dates.  The Disney Gold Pass, the Disney Silver Pass, and the Disney Weekday Select Pass do have blockout dates.  Blockout dates generally occur in the summer, around Christmas, and/or around Spring Break, but they do vary by ticket.

Florida Resident 3-Day and 4-Day Tickets expire 180 days after the first use, and the first use must occur on or before December 31, 2019.  Florida Resident Discover Disney Tickets can be used through June 24, 2018.

If you have any questions, give the Existing Tickets line a call at 407-566-4985, or call the Annual Passholders line at 407-560-PASS, or 407-560-7277.  The Cast Members there will be happy to answer any questions you may have about your tickets!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
