    I see that bike rentals are not available due to construction at Wilderness Lodge at this time. Our reservations are for the last week in July - any chance bike rentals will be up and running by then?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kim!

    Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up so soon!  I'm sure you are busy getting all those last-minute details for your trip in place.

    Any time there is a construction or refurbishment project happening at Walt Disney World Resort, I know it is a priority to complete the project just as soon as possible so guests will be able to enjoy that experience.  Although there is always a chance that things may change between now and the time you'll be visiting, to be honest I don't think the construction that is impacting Bike Rentals at Disney's Wilderness Lodge will be complete by the end of July.  You are welcome to visit one of the other Resort Hotels offering Bike Rentals.

    A great alternative would be to rent Surrey Bikes.  My family loves taking a spin on a bicycle built for 6 on the path around Crescent Lake, then stopping for ice cream at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop or Ample Hills Creamery after using pedal power to burn off some fuel.

    Another activity your family might enjoy is renting Sea Raycer motorboats from the marina at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  These fun little boats seat two, and kids age 12 and up can even be the driver!  Younger guests may ride as passengers, and life jackets are provided for all.  My kids LOVED zipping all over Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, and have ranked the Sea Raycers as one of their top experiences EVER at Walt Disney World Resort.  It is really neat to see Magic Kingdom Park from the perspective on the water.

    My friend and fellow panelist Eean just returned from a stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and mentioned how much she enjoyed dining at Geyser Point Bar & Grill.  She said the Bison Cheeseburger was delicious!
