Hi Paula,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with your question.
One of the great benefits of a Disney Cruise Line vacation is that Guests (ages 21 and up) are
permitted to carry on two bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or size beers (no larger than 12 oz) in their carry-on luggage on embarkation day. You may also bring the same quantities onboard at each port of call. Guests may also bring sodas and water. I chatted with a Crew Member and learned that currently, any alcoholic beverages that are not beer, wine or champagne will be considered 'other liquors and spirits' and are therefore prohibited."
You will need to bring these items in your carry-on luggage and keep them with you from the time you board until your stateroom is ready. Keep this in mind as you are working on your packing list.
If you would like to learn more about cocktails and spirits, you should check out the
Beverage Tasting seminars offered during your cruise. I find them to be extremely enjoyable and educational!
I hope this is the information you were looking for, Paula. If you have other questions let us know!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
