Hi, Sharon!
Thanks for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'll also be visiting Walt Disney World during the first week of May for the
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. I can't wait to try the small plates, specialty beverages and desserts at the Garden Marketplaces! If you happen to spot me in my pink Disney Parks Moms Panel gear as I taste my way around World Showcase, please be sure to say "hello"!
There's no need to modify your dining plans. You'll find a nice selection of small plates, non-alcoholic beverages and desserts at each Garden Marketplace kiosk that are considered "snack credits" on the Disney Dining Plans (DDP). You can easily make an entire meal out of sampling the various offerings! It truly is a great value because you'll only be using your DDP snack entitlements rather than your quick-service credits! On the menu boards displayed at each kiosk, look for the square purple and white DDP logo which identifies the snack credit selections.
For more details on the Garden Marketplace offerings, click on the Festival link that I provided above to download the official
Festival Guide. You may also want to check out the independent website
AllEars.Net to view the full kiosk menus with DDP snack items indicated. On the homepage, click on the 2012 Flower and Garden Festival section and then on "Garden Marketplace Menus" in the left column.
Wishing you a
magical culinary adventure at the Flower & Garden Festival, Sharon! Please send more questions as you plan your Walt Disney World stay. I'd be happy to help!
