Better restaurant for family (inlaws, husband and i and our 3 children) for dinner on our first night - raglan road or fultons crab house?

Hi, Alison!  I think this is really a matter of personal preference.  The restaurants offer two very different types of cuisine, with the emphasis at Fulton's Crab House being on seafood dishes, while Raglan Road offers a contemporary twist on some classic Irish cuisine.  I would also have to say that Raglan Road is a bit livelier of a place to dine, and Fulton's has a bit more elegant flair than the pub atmosphere at Raglan Road.

Having said that, if I offered the option of either restaurant to my three girls, it would be, hands down, Raglan Road.  The kids love the food, and the evenings there feature live entertainment.  We even enjoy grabbing a bite later in the evening, sitting outside and enjoying the outdoor tables off to the side of the restaurant.  They also have a cool little gift shop at Raglan Road, and my daughter won a trip to Ireland from the restaurant in March during their St. Patrick's Day Irish dance competition - we have to show some loyalty after that!

I have had some wonderful meals at Fulton's as well, but we live not too terribly far from the New Jersey shore, so we do eat a lot of seafood dinners when we go out.  Raglan Road offers something we don't see too often here, especially in such a family friendly setting.

    Have a great vacation!
