Hi Lindsay, and thanks for stopping by planDisney!
To hop or not to hop? That is the question. So, let’s think through the options to help you find the answer for your perfect
Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
The number one advantage of the
Park Hopper option is having more flexibility on your vacation to visit multiple parks each day instead of one park per day. Currently, after you visit your first park of the day for which you have a
Theme Park Reservation, you can head to the park of choice at 2:00 p.m. Lindsay, with a Park Hopper Ticket, you can actually visit all four parks if you would like! As we like to say in Georgia, my family attacks the day by starting the morning off in
Magic Kingdom Park and hopping to another park for a late lunch or one of our favorite attractions and then we head back to Magic Kingdom for nighttime fireworks.
Now, while I’m an avid park hopper, there are some reasons why visiting one park per day is a better option. If you prefer to explore everything each park offers from open to close and your vacation is four days or longer, you will prefer the one park per day option. If you like to spend time at your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel or enjoy recreation opportunities outside of the theme parks, the one park per day option might be right for you. Of course, your budget could factor into your choice. Choosing the one park-per-day option might free up your budget to include more dining, shopping, or other options such as one of the many
Enchanting Extras Collection experiences.
As you continue to dream up your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, remember to check “Park Hours & Info” in the
My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date park and Park Hopper hours and updates as changes are possible.
I hope this information is helpful, Lindsay. If you have other questions or would like more tips for your vacation,
please hop back by and let me know!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
