Hi Jill! Thanks for bringing your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I've had the pleasure of attending both Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and I've loved both of the
special ticketed events for different reasons.
It is so much fun to see Mickey, Minnie and all their friends dressed up in their Halloween costumes. Daisy is my oldest daughter's favorite! Collecting candies at different spots all around the Magic Kingdom Park is a fun and different activity that you don't get any other time of year. With that said, my 4 year old at the time was a little spooked by the "Boo-to-you Halloween Parade." As a native Floridian, I also find that it can still be pretty warm from August to October in Orlando.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my family's favorite events at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's Christmas time all around you! From the characters in festive costumes to complimentary yummy hot chocolate, cookies and other special treats, it's an all around great time. We really love seeing Santa on his sleigh at the end of the parades too!
Both events allow you to enter the parks as early as 4 p.m. but as soon as the clock strikes midnight, both events are over for the night. Any night the events are offered are convenient because they are ticketed events. This means the crowds are much smaller, making wait times for your favorite attractions much shorter.
While dates for either of the parties have yet to be announced, you can always keep track of all the happenings at the Walt Disney World Resort on the
Disney Parks Blog.
Hope this helps! Come back to see us soon!
