Better to go in Sept get the rm only discounts to be able to stay at AKL or wait until Oct and stay at ASM family suite?Would be nice to have xtra room for kids and kitchen in suite. But hard to pass up chance to stay at AKL. Never stayed at WDW resort...

    Hi Jennifer!

Well, that's a tough choice. You really can't go wrong with either resort, but I can tell you that a stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge is almost like a once-in-a-lifetime safari!

The Animal Kingdom Lodge brings the feel of Africa to Florida. The savannas are full of Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe and more. Some rooms even look out over the grassy areas so that you feel like you're roomy right on the Savanna!

Activities include storytelling by the fire, musical parades through the lobby and even viewing the animals with Night Vision glasses!

Regardless of which resort you choose staying on Walt Disney World is a treat. Guests at the resort can enjoy free airport transportation, park transportation, parking AND Extra Magic Hours at the parks (just to name a few perks).

Hope you have a wonderful trip!
