Is it better to book through Disney or through a travel agent?

    Lisa,

Either is fine, but with a travel agency there are a few things to consider.

    • Make sure they are a Disney-authorized vacation planner (a logo that will identify them as one)
    • Make sure they are a no-fee agency (they won't charge you any more than what you would have paid Disney)

One of the upsides of using an agency is that they can make your dining reservations for you at no added charge (as well as any other specialty reservations). They can also spot discounts that are out there that you might not otherwise be aware of.

My preference is to use an agency, like Mouse Fan Travel, that specializes in Walt Disney World vacations. They know this place inside-and-out, and they take care of many of the details for you. With no added charge for this service, it is hard to deny that you come out ahead in time saved and headaches avoided.

    Have a magical vacation!
