Hi Beth, Have you ever stayed at the All Stars Movie resort. We are planning a trip for Oct. This will be my son's first time, and he will be turning 4 during out trip.

    Hi Shira,

While I have not stayed at the All Star Movie Resort, I have stayed at All Star Sports. I really enjoyed my stay here even though the lobby and food court were under construction!

The room size was a little tight if you were four adults but for a family with a small child, it is fine. I loved that the theme was carried out throughout the resort similar to what you would find at other resorts at the World Disney World Resorts. The food court had many food options and there were nice touches as well such as fresh lemon for your tea.

If your family is a Disney movie fan, this resort will be perfect. The pools and other open areas will be full of picture opportunities with your favorite Disney characters!

One item to note, you will always be traveling by bus. At four, my daughters were still in a stroller for touring so I hope you have an extra hand for juggling a stroller and your pirate on the bus if you can not get a seat. We always carried a backpack and sent souvenirs back to our resort so we did not have extra packages.

Finally, tailor your visit to a few must sees a day. If it not a surprise, then order the free planning video and watch it with your son. He can then give you an idea what he wants to see. My Jessica, who was four for her first trip, saw the video and only wanted to see the "big egg". My husband and I had no clue what the "big egg" was. Luckily, we went to the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and the "big egg" rolled right at Indy as the boulder in the opening scene. Always a favorite memory!

Have a magical vacation and if your pirate wants to be a pirate, check out the Pirate League for a makeover and remember to get a pin which says "My First Trip".
