    Hi Beth thanks for BLT studio answer I called DVC, they have OKW available, but I am concerned about transportation race morning, will it be a lot harder to use the bus from OKW? What if we are all the way in the back of the resort? traveling w/ 4yo &

    Hi Amanda,

    Old Key West is the original Disney Vacation Club Resort. The rooms are slightly bigger but most are on a cul de sac which is nice especially with a car.

    If you do switch to this resort, request buildings in this order 62, 23, 27 or 12 as they are all close to the main building where the bus will pick up for the marathon. In general, it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the front but I could see how you would want to avoid any extra steps the day of the race.

    You can also ask to be placed on a wait list for the resort you do want such as the Boardwalk others I recommended. You would receive an email letting you know that your room has been switched and it will automatically happen up to 7 days in advance.
