    Hi Karen,

Just back from Bay Lake Towers and had wonderful time. My family of four shared a one bedroom with a Magic Kingdom view.

You will check in at the Contemporary. Since we drove, we pulled around to the parking lot attached to Bay Lake and entered the tower's main entrance. The one unique thing about Bay Lake is that you must always have a room key on you. This allows you entrance into the building as well as the pool area. I never experienced this at any other DVC property.

The room was beautiful and well designed. There are two full baths which is a big help getting ready! The washer/dryer was nice to dry our wet clothes.

My daughters slept on the pullout sofa and chair. Since they had an issue with the pullout at Saratoga Springs, I heard no complaints about these beds. I would order extra blankets as soon as you arrive as housekeeping was slow to bring them to us when we originally requested them.

The pool area was fine for us. The area has a main pool with two slides and a fountain area in the back. There are barbeques and picnic tables, and you could also order food from the bar. Bocce ball, shuffle board and ping pong are outside activities as well. Be careful in the bathroom as the title is pretty but very slippery! I would also check out community hall as they have fun activities for the children even ceramics.

Since we did not bring food to make meals, we ate at the Contemporary. We accessed this by walking across the connecting bridge on the 5th floor which is an open walkway. While we did not think it was a big deal to go to the main building for food, others have said they thought it too far. Really, it is no different than being at the Boardwalk.

Our only frustration was the lack of response time fixing tub when our daughter pulled off the spout. Other than this we loved being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom and would return again!

    Have a magical vacation!
    Beth
