Hi Beth, I read your answer regarding hotels. You mentioned the Poly if concentrating only on Magic Kingdom. We are visiting for 5 days, our children are 6 yr old girls... would this be enough time to visit all other parks? you mentioned several other ho

    Hi Eliana,

I absolutely think with six year old girls you can visit all of the parks in five days. Without having the exact question you are referencing, I hope I do not give you conflicting information.

At your children's ages, I would recommend a day or two at Magic Kingdom, a day/day and half at EPCOT and a day each at Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios. I would also go to Magic Kingdom after EPCOT so that your daughters enjoy the special charm of EPCOT. In addition, I would not recommend a park hopper as you have a lot to see at the parks and why rush it to go to another park because you "paid" for the option.

As for hotels, if you are going to concentrate only on Magic Kingdom, a hotel near this park would be beneficial if you are planning to go back to the room for naps or swimming. Often guests will stay at a value or moderate resort because of budget which I respect. However, they forget to factor travel time and mode of transportation to a resort. It is no fun to be on a bus at night with two children, a stroller and maybe no seat. This is why I think you take one day off your trip and upgrade your resort if you are only going to visit just the Magic Kingdom.

If you can not afford the Polynesian or you want a centrally located resort, I love Port Orleans Riverside for families. I have stayed there with my daughters at this age. I would chose a mansion in Magnolia Bend as it is easy to get to the bus and the food court.

I hope this helps answer your question!
