Hi Beth, I have 2 questions are there any differences between the rainforest cafe in ak and dd, secondly what are the dont miss counter service restaurants in your opinion, thanx this panel rocks  x

    Hi Mandy,

I am glad you think this panel rocks!

As for the Rainforest Cafe, I have never been to either one of them in Walt Disney World. I have eaten at one near my home and the food was okay and the atomsphere very cool. Since it is a chain, I doubt there will be much difference between the two. One thing to note is that if you are going later in the evening, transportation will be easier at Downtown Disney than Animal Kingdom because Animal Kingdom closes earlier.

As for not to miss counter service restaurants, let me break them up by parks.

Magic Kingdom-Columbia Harbour House is small and out of the way and most people miss it because they are walking from Fantasyland into Liberty Square. Another off the beaten trail is the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station which has open, covered seating next to the Laugh Factory.

EPCOT-The Land has a variety of fresh choices made from products grown on-site. Any of the countries have great food for a quick meal.

Disney's Hollywood Studios-The Backlot Express and the ABC Commissary offer a variety of foods which will make the whole group happy. Backlot gets crowded after the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular lets out so make sure you are ahead of the crowd.

Animal Kingdom-The Tusker House is my choice, and it has a unique flair. Too much of a stretch than Pizzafari is a good option.

    Have a wonderful trip!
