Hi Beth, Familywill be at Epcot in Nov During evening EMH, we were wondering how this works.will both future world and World showcase both stay open 3 hours late? Do you know which rides will stay open? Can we watch Illuminations , when go on rides? TY!

    Hi Joy,

You have only a few short weeks to wait for vacation, and you must be excited!

Extra Magic Hours in the evenings work the same for admittance no matter what park you will be in. However, there has been a change to the program which should be in effect on your trip. If you are entering the park after EPCOT closes to the guests staying outside of the resorts, you will need to present your room key and ticket to the castmember at the gate. You may have a combined Key to the World card which has both and this is fine or they may be two separate items.

To enter any attraction which is staying open later, simply show the castmember your room key and enter the attraction. You should have little or no wait for the rides.

In general during Extra Magic Hours, the most popular rides are open. In EPCOT, you will find Soarin' and Test Track open in Future World. The American Adventure and Mexico open in World Showcase.  Here is the link to the complete list of attractions open during the EMH.

Illuminations is always at 9:00 pm weather permitting so you could easily ride the rides after this show which is my husband's and daughter's favorite fireworks display in Disney World. (I love Magic Kingdoms!)

    Have a great trip!
