    Hi Beth! BLT studio lake view w/12 yr son in July! Yay! Any specific floor/location that you think is best? Also, opinion of pool? I know not as themed as BCV, but cool or no? I'm debating on water park this trip. If pool is cool enough, we'll skip TL.

    I love that you and your son are going on a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in July! This is a great time to go because you have maximum hours to explore all the fun of this monstrous summer!

    When my family heads to Walt Disney World, we are rarely in the room so we seldom ask for a specific location or floor. Since this resort is compact, you are never far from an elevator bank and the main entrance. The fourth floor has the walkway to the Contemporary Resort. This might be convenient if you want to head to the Contemporary for meals or shopping because Bay Lake shares these amenities with its sister resort.

    As for the pool, it is small and rarely any pools at the Walt Disney World Resorts compete with Beach Club! If you want to use the pool for chilling for a few hours or grabbing a quick dip, it is fine. If you want all day entertainment, head to Typhoon Lagoon!
