    Joanne,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

There are a few locations at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort where these 5th sleeper rooms have been added. Most of the rooms in the Martinique and Barbados sections of the resort are 5th sleeper rooms and are located close to the Old Port Royale main building of the resort. There are also some of these rooms located in the Aruba and Jamaica sections of the resort.

When you use the Online Check-In feature you will get some options on room selection, often including some location-based choices. But since room location is extremely important to you, remember that if you don't like the room they assign to you, you can still go to the front desk and ask if there are other rooms available.

    BONUS TIP
When you arrive at the hotel, before they have even given you a room assignment, go to the front desk and ask about your room location. This could only improve your chances of getting a location that meets your needs.

But which section should you request?

Going flying? If you expect to spend most of your time at Disney Skyliner-connected parks, like EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, ask for a room in the Jamaica section. That would put you as little as just 550-800 feet away from the Skyliner station. That is under a quarter of a kilometer.

Keys to the Kingdom! If your plans are more focused on relaxing at the resort hotel, or visiting the Kingdoms (like the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Park), then I would ask for Martinique. You would be closer to the Old Port Royale main building that way. That section has you just a few hundred feet away from the main building and its stores, feature swimming pool, and dining.

What if you cannot decide? The Barbados section would be good compromise, minimizing your walks to both the Skyliner, and Old Port Royale. From the middle of this section, you are no more than a 1/4 mile from the Skyliner (2/5 km), and half that distance to the Old Port Royale building.
