What's the best/fastest way to get from the Magic Kingdom to the 6pm Cirque show during the summer? We are staying at the Polynesian. We are willing to take Disney transport or a cab. Thanks

Hi Sonia! Although  Disney transportation doesn't run directly between Downtown Disney and the Magic Kingdom, you still have plenty of options for getting to Cirque du Soleil. If you're planning to return to the Polynesian first, you could take a Disney bus from there directly to Downtown Disney and be there in about 20 minutes. If you don't want to wait on a bus, a cab could have you at Downtown Disney in a little less time.

To go to Cirque directly from the Magic Kingdom, you could hop on a bus headed to one of the Downtown Disney area resorts, such as the Saratoga Springs or Port Orleans, and then take a boat over to Downtown Disney. Alternatively, you could walk or take the monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary and then take the Downtown Disney bus from there. For any of these routes, you'll want to leave the Magic Kingdom by 5 p.m. since it can take up to an hour to travel around Walt Disney World when you have to transfer between modes of transportation at a resort.

Personally, I'd recommend taking the Downtown Disney bus directly from the Polynesian, or if you're heading to Cirque straight from the Magic Kingdom, walking over to the Contemporary and taking the bus from there. Those routes should get you there the fastest.

Have a magical time at Cirque! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
