What is the best way to get from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom? We will be there in October and my kids will be 3 1/2 and 17 months.

    Hello Jennifer,

Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we are here to help and happy to do so. Visiting Walt Disney World at a time when your children are so young, will make for some magical and memorable moments. If you have not already done so, I recommend checking out Planning for Pre-School & Little Ones. This is a wonderful collaboration of information for parents and grandparents wondering what is available to them when planning a Walt Disney World Vacation for their youngsters.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a majestic place to call home at Walt Disney World. The architecture, landscaping and ambience will make you feel like you are living in a luxurious wooded destination of the America's Great Northwest. From the pool, to the dining, to the hospitality, you and your family will find it hard to leave at the end of your stay. Guests wishing to travel to Magic Kingdom park, have two complimentary traveling options. The first, is make your way to the bus stop, found at the front of your resort, and board a bus to Magic Kingdom park. Your second option, and my favorite, is the water taxis. To board a water taxi to Magic Kingdom park, make your way out the back of your resort, towards the pool area and bare left.  Signs will point you to the boat launch, where you will board a red flagged boat to your magical destination.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World, be ever so practically perfect.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
