What's the best way to get from Wilderness Lodge to a dinner at Chef Mickey's? How long will it take?

    Catherine,

That is both an easy, and scenic ride to get from the Wilderness Lodge to Chef Mickey's!

First, take the boat from the docks at Fort Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom. Plan for that to take about 30-45 minutes. When you get off the boat, you can either hop on the monorail over to the Contemporary, or simply walk. The first should take 10-15 minutes, all told, with the walking, waiting and riding. If, however, you choose to walk over, it should be decidedly faster. You can expect it to be really no more than about 10 minutes, with you not having to wait on the arrival time of a monorail.

I would recommend walking, but either should be fine.

I am glad to help with any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
