    what is the best week in September to avoid larger crowds and not yet have Halloween stuff around? are the value resorts ok for 4 yr and 2 yr old? we are planning our first trip on a tight budget

    Hi, Jenna! The crowd level is terrific any time during the month of September, so feel good about your decision to go then! The Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties usually begin around the middle of the month (it was September 15th this year), so if you are wanting to avoid Halloween, you will want to go at the start of the month because the decorations will be in place once the parties begin. My family and I stayed in the Value Resorts when the kids were younger and loved them. Because so much time was spent in the Theme Parks, we just wanted a good, clean spot to sleep with all the perks that came with staying on-site. Staying at a Value Resort is a great way to help manage your budget, and your kids will love it! Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
