John,
So I love this miniature golf course, as it is the easier of the two to get to if you don't have a car. Plus, I just love the atmosphere. It is holiday kitschy, and just fun all around. But I think that transportation will not be convenient for you on this trip, unfortunately.
So typically to get from Mickey's Backyard BBQ to Winter Summerland you would take the bus from the Fort Wilderness Resort to Blizzard Beach. But because Blizzard Beach closes at 5 pm that day, I am thinking the buses will have long since stopped running. The buses are technically going to that location for the water park, not for the miniature golf, so when the water park is closed, the bus transportation ends. At least that is what I have experienced.
If you still want to do that, you could catch a cab. That would run you about a 15 minute ride, and about $17 to $20 dollars.
If you are not up for that, you could take the bus from Fort Wilderness to Downtown Disney, then bus to the Swan Hotel. From there you can just walk across the street to
Fantasia Gardens. It is also open until 11 pm, and you could even take in a stroll on the BoardWalk that evening!
Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a magical vacation!
