Best way to get to Ft Wilderness Lodge after 8:30 pm YeeHaw Bob show at POR?

    Howdy Catherine!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are in for a rip-roarin’ good time at Yehaa Bob at River Roost Lounge! The local legend entertains young and old with his musical comedy and antics. The great thing is his show is family-friendly, so if you have the littles with you, feel free to bring them!

If you want to use the complimentary Disney transportation, the easiest way to get home to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is by taking the bus from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to Magic Kingdom Park. That ride should take about 20 minutes. From that point, you can either jump on a bus to your Resort or take a boat (my favorite mode of Disney transportation!). The boat from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is about a 10-minute sail, and the bus will take anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes.

Now if you’d like to travel in true Disney style, consider a Minnie Van! You can hail a polka-dotted beauty via the Lyft app, and a delightful Cast Member will pick you up at the main entrance of the Bayou and drop you off at the door of the Lodge. The service is available from 6:30 am to 12:30 am and is a quick and convenient way to get from A to B on Walt Disney World Resort property.

Catherine, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. Enjoy the show!
