Hi Katherine!
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!
The
Skyliner is one of my family’s favorite ways to get around Disney World. My boys actually request to ride it just for fun sometimes!
The Skyliner route goes all the way from the back entrance of
Epcot (the International Gateway) to
Hollywood Studios with stops at some resorts along the way. There’s a central hub at Caribbean Beach, where all guests need to exit the Skyliner and then choose where they want to go from there before getting back on.
Here’s how the route looks starting at the Epcot station:
The Skyliner goes from the Epcot station at the International Gateway entrance to the
Riviera Resort. You do not need to get off the Skyliner at this point unless you’ll be visiting the Riviera. Then it continues on to
Caribbean Beach Resort.
At Caribbean Beach, you’ll need to get off the Skyliner and choose to take the route to
Pop Century Resort and
Art of Animation Resort -OR- to Hollywood Studios.
Since
Disney Springs is not one of the stops along the Skyliner route, I recommend stopping at one of the resorts along the route and then heading to that resort’s bus stop to take the bus to Disney Springs.
In addition to the resorts along the Skyliner route mentioned above, resorts near the Skyliner station at Epcot include the
Boardwalk,
Beach Club, and
Yacht Club. The easiest resorts to catch the bus to Disney Springs from the Skyliner route, in my opinion, would be the Boardwalk, Beach Club, Riviera, Pop Century, or Art of Animation.
To get a good visual of what the Skyliner route looks like, use the search icon at the bottom of your
My Disney Experience app to search for Disney Skyliner, then click Find on Map. You’ll be able to zoom in to see the Skyliner route and stations.
I hope you have the best trip! Let us know if you have any other questions!
