What would be the best way to get to the Chef Mickey breakfast from the Port Orleans French quarter? We would like to ride the monorail.

    Linda,

Great question, and what a great breakfast to start the day!

So unless you have one of those extremely early reservation times for breakfast, I recommend the following plan.
    1. Take the bus from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to the Magic Kingdom.
    2. From the bus depot there I would normally just walk over to the Disney's Contemporary Resort (about 4/10 of a mile)
    3. However, since you want to ride the monorail, instead of walking you can do just that. Walk just pass the entry area to the Magic Kingdom and hop on the Resort loop Monorail. I won't deny that I have ridden the monorail more than 1 time around, just to enjoy the ride and the view!
After you are done with breakfast, if you are going to the Magic Kingdom it is much faster to just walk over. If you want to get to another park you can just hop on a bus from the resort. If you are headed back to your hotel, you can walk over to the Magic Kingdom bus depot and get a bus straight back to your home away from home!
