Hey, John! Getting around Walt Disney World Resort can often be quite easy with complimentary Disney transportation. The
monorail and
water transportation options make travel between their linked resorts faster than you can spell supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Of course, I do know at times a little patience is required with other transfers, especially when you are trying to go from resort to resort via the Disney bus system. This can make traveling to another resort for an Advance Dining Reservation a lengthy process, with Walt Disney World Resort recommending that guests give themselves up to an hour and a half to reach their destination.
In most cases, the Disney bus system does not routinely go from resort to resort. Many guests use metered taxi services to do this. Bell Services at your resort can help you get a taxi and be on your way. Rideshare services, such as Lyft and Uber, are frequently used on property. There is actually a very magical service linked with the Lyft app -
Minnie Vans! These adorable vehicles are dressed to impress, looking just like something Minnie Mouse herself would drive. I have used this service numerous times and have found it to be the most reliable and cutest way to quickly hop from resort to resort. Simply pull up the Lyft app, choose your destination and the option for Minnie Vans. If you do not automagically see them as an option, stop by Bell Services and they will help you link with the cool vans in polka dots.
I hope you have a magical day, John. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit!
