Hi Kimberly,
One of the things I love about vacationing at Walt Disney World is that I do not have to drive to and from the parks. Depending on which resort I am enjoying my vacation, I can either take a bus, boat, monorail or walk to the parks. Transportation starts one hour prior to a park opening and ends one hour after the park closes.
Coronado Springs is serviced by buses. The buses stop at the entrance of El Centro and then three additional stops are at this resort. Since you are a guest staying on property, parking is free while you are staying at the Coronado Springs.
It is a personal preference if you want to drive or take Disney Transportation. The only park I do not like to drive to is Magic Kingdom. The parking lot is far away from the entrance and you need to take either the ferry or monorail over to Magic Kingdom.
Also, if you are park hopping, taking Disney Transportation eliminates the need to move your car.
Wishing you a magical day!
Beth
