Best transportation service for guests staying at All Stars resort?

Hi Jamee, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! One of the things I love about staying at a Disney resort hotel is all of the different transportation options. So let’s chat about the best way to travel to and from the airport and theme parks!

If you’re traveling between the Orlando airport and one of the All-Star Resorts, I like to use a ride-share service, like Lyft, since it’s generally the fastest. But I’ve also taken a shared transportation service, like Mears Connect, which will typically stop at a few different resort hotels. Depending on the number of people in your party, it can be more affordable than using a ride-sharing service. Another option would be to rent a car at the airport and either keep it with you at All-Star Resort (so you can drive it back to the airport) or return it to the Car Care Center if you don’t need it during your stay (this may be possible for certain car rental companies). Disney resort hotel guests get complimentary standard self-parking; you won’t have any added expenses related to parking your car at Disney World.

When it comes to traveling between the All-Star Resorts and the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs, there are complimentary buses available. So you can truly relax and leave the driving to Disney! During your stay, you can even check estimated bus arrival times in the My Disney Experience app. Although these times can change, I find it helpful to know how fast I should walk to the bus stop from my room! And, if you're looking to travel in style, you can also use Minnie Van Service with their fun, polka-dotted vehicles!

And as a Disney resort hotel guest, don’t forget that you get access to Early Theme Park Entry. This gets you into the theme parks 30 minutes before regular park opening. My family loves to take advantage of this perk and get a couple of rides in with shorter wait times. It really helps us maximize our day!

I hope you have a magical stay at the All-Star Resorts next week! And if you have any other questions, we’re always here for you at planDisney.
